I’m usually up around 8, and I’ll feed and groom my persian cats, Shakespurre and Whispur. Then I’ll have breakfast — eggs and toast, or yoghurt — and go into my office at home and get to work. Bob is retired and he has sleep apnoea, so he’ll still be catching up with his sleep.

I’ve never advertised my services, but people come to me from all over. I joke that God is my marketing director… Well, okay, that and Google. Some clients want to know how to reach the real world effectively, and I’ll develop marketing and promotional packages for them. I also do animal communication, so pet-owners come to me because their animals have behavioural problems. Or someone may have had something they feel is an extraterrestrial contact experience and want to learn about it.

I’ve had contact since I was a baby. I remember being in the crib and they’d come each night. There were different types. There were the “greys”, the ones in Steven Spielberg films. There was another one that was very hirsute, which I called “the bear”. Some had physical bodies and others were more like inter-dimensional entities: they’d abandoned the need for a body. I didn’t realise that until one particular type of ET came to see me, with a round head, oriental almond-shaped eyes and a white robe and a sash. He said, “You really don’t need to see us this way; it’s no longer necessary,” and he turned into a kind of energy squiggle.

When I was about 12 they started to take me far back in time — what we would call back in time, though it’s not at all linear — and I’d see my other lives. Reincarnation is deeply tied into humanity and extraterrestrial reality. They took me to an Egyptian tomb where I’d been buried alive with my dead husband. The purpose of that lesson was to teach me that we are eternal souls. And what it left me with as I grew older was the idea that if I had no fear of death, then I had no fear of living either. They said I had a pre-birth agreement to do this: that my soul had determined to participate in this, and I’d had many, many lifetimes of contact with them.

I work hard, but for me work is fun; it’s my spirit at play. My days are varied. I’ll use my psychic abilities to come up with promotional campaigns for people. Or I’ll be talking to someone about a situation with their multi-million-dollar contract and how it ties into a previous lifetime. At lunchtime, I’ve usually got the phone in one hand and I’m sneaking into the refrigerator, trying to find something I can eat quickly. I really need to eat more healthily. I’ve been vegetarian at various times, but my body really craves protein.

I believe that the truth about extraterrestrials will probably come out in my lifetime. And it’s not government disclosure that’s going to break it open: it’s the commercialisation of space. Look at all these people working to privatise space, like Sir Richard Branson, and Paul Allen from Microsoft. As that goes forward, we’re going to have to deal with this issue — because the problem isn’t what’s out there but who’s out there. I have this amusing vision of someone looking out a porthole and… whoops!

The extraterrestrials look at us with interest as we advance. They have tremendous nervousness about the atomic bomb — not so much because we’d blow ourselves to kingdom come, but because there’d be repercussions in other dimensions close to us. They’ve said what they really like about me is that I have a background in science. I spent many years in healthcare: I went into nursing and then became a healthcare administrator. A lot of people at the forefront of scientific advancement are unconsciously getting information from them: they’ll pass it on, hoping it will come through in the dream state, or the meditative “Aha!” state. Oftentimes when an extraterrestrial entity is trying to reach you, they’ll test you in your dream state first, to make sure you’re not going to be afraid. I don’t like the term “abduction”. There’s a point where they’ll see you have a capacity to control yourself and you’re not afraid, then you stop being an abductee and become a student, a collaborator.

Bob’s usually having breakfast when I’m having dinner. He’ll be having eggs and sausage while I’ll have fish and rice and steamed vegetables. Bob is a retired sergeant major who’s known for breaking his national-security oath and revealing what he knew about military involvement with extraterrestrials. So we make an interesting couple. I met him around 1997 and the first thing I said to him was: “You know, I had no idea you were alive and on Earth at this time.” He said: “I didn’t know you were here either.”

Bob watches the History Channel and I like that too, but there are times when I want to blow my brain on junk TV. There are some sci-fi shows where I’ve noticed something in the script and said, “How the hell did they know about that?” because it’s something I learnt from an alien connection. So someone may be having contact there.

Usually around 10 o’clock I’ll start working again. I don’t go to bed till about 2, and I’m ready to pass out. A frequent cycle for contact experiences is between 1 and 3, or 3 and 5am. They told me that the human is in less of a combative state then, and more compliant.
