Ever wondered how Mike Tyson would have fared against Muhammad Ali? This realistic boxing game enables you to recreate this and various other fantasy bouts. The game is the fourth instalment of the Fight Night series, and like its predecessors it boasts impressive visuals along with challenging gameplay. It has retained the virtues of earlier

versions yet most of the flaws have been fixed. The action is faster, the tutorials have been beefed up and, best of all, the learning curve is mercifully smoother. You can play as one of 40 real-world champions, from the greats of old right up to modern-day fighters such as Ricky Hatton — or create your own character. As well as raw power and speed, there is a crucial tactical side to the game that requires you to play to your chosen boxer’s strengths — such as making use of Tyson’s brutal inside punching to compensate for his lack of height. It’s not perfect, but the game does create a genuine sense of impact and momentum in the ring.
