Q I need to transfer my contacts from my handwritten address book to a PC. Is there software to make this less laborious?
AG from Beaconsfield
A Converting handwriting into editable data using software is tricky, and you’ll spend as long fixing the mistakes as you will keying in all the details from scratch. Once you have entered them, though, there’s a neat way of downloading the contacts into address-book format. Using Filofax Address Book Software (£12.50 from tinyurl.com/5vl396), you can print the contacts onto three sizes of Filofax paper (£8 for 50 sheets). It’s then an easy task to regularly update your contacts book.
